Otani Oniji II as Kawashima Jibugoro, the villain in the play, Nihonmatsu Michinoku Sodachi, performed at the Kawarazaki-za. His twisted pose reflects his cunning and avarice. One of the more well known Sharaku prints. Made in the exact traditional manner as the original and comes in the original viewing folder with the accompanying notes (in Japanese). Date: Shōwa period.
