From Hiroshige’s greatest series “The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō”. 

Handmade in the Showa period (pre-1989) by the best artisans alive at the time. Good impression, bleed and saturation into handmade washi paper (see last picture for saturation and bleed through to the verso).

Condition: Excellent. Very lightly tipped in original titled archival folder. With high-quality, hand-printed “bokashi” shading gradations. -Will look spectacular when professionally framed.
