A sago-palm dominates the centre of and gives a lush feeling to this rest-house where guests are being served and a geisha is getting ready for a performance. This was a favourite spot among male travellers. An inn that first opened in 1649 still operates today. Made by Takumi Woodblock Studio, Tokyo. Excellent condition. Rich colours (photos are never the same as face to face). In original titled archival folder with title page. Date: Shōwa period.
