Rare Japanese Woodblock Print. This is the only one available in the world. I, as a dealer, have not had one from this horizontal format series at these dimensions for over 12 years.

Asada (British Museum link) produced a notable series titled “Flowers of the Golden Sky”. In these works, the “golden” background is a stylistic choice achieved through specialized printing techniques and metallic powders.

Benji Asada (1899–1984) worked mainly with the Uchida Publishing Company (Uchida Bijutsu Shoshi) in Kyoto, particularly during the 1930s and 1950s.

This print contains ancient symbolism that is auspicious for the home in which it hangs. This symbolism will be shared upon its purchase.

Size = 8.5″ x 13.25″ (print size).
