Hirosada was Osaka’s top late-Edo Kamigata-e artist. He was backstage sketching during this Kabuki Theatre rehearsal and production. The balance of scenery, color and subject matter make this a highly desirable diptych. Pieces of this quality and dynamism are not common at this price.
