$15,000.00 CAD
Hashimoto Gahō is considered one of the last great Kanō School painters. His art regularly adorns Japanese postage stamps and his pieces are in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, and many other private and prestigious collections. As a result of his great talents, he was made an official painter of the Imperial Household. The second last picture shows the page from the official publication of seals which includes the seal used for this piece. We were very happy to acquire this piece and will arrange a private viewing for those with serious interest.
