Akiyama Torashige (1527–1575) was a samurai during the Sengoku period in Japan. He is known as one of the “Twenty-Four Generals of Takeda Shingen“.

Kikuchi-san was one of the greatest painters of historical figures of his time. The honshi (main painted area) is in excellent condition and the mounting has normal wear. There is exquisite detail in the hair, clothing and accessories. With the original titled box (see last picture). Inscription: Yosai / Seal: Takeyasu 多鶏弥須. The last photo shows the same name seal on a piece held in a private collection in Japan.
