Mount Hiei is famous in Japan for its beautiful hiking trails, used by the monks there for important trials of endurance to help attain enlightenment. Signed / numbered limited edition! Tomikichiro created prints from start to finish in his own workshop (Sōsaku-hanga), but also earned a living with Shin-hanga (collaborative efforts overseen by publishers). Born in Kyoto, he was a graduate of the School of Fine Arts and Crafts. He is fairly well known in the west. Very good condition.
