Now 92 years old in this year of 2024, Ozeki-sama, a Rinzai sect monk and priest at Daisen-in Temple in Daitokuji Temple, is now something of a living legend and has authored or co-authored 30 or more publications. He is also known as Ozeki Tōrin 尾関桃林. The “Daisen” (大仙) in his calligraphy signature for this piece and a majority of his pieces are the same characters from Daisen-in Temple. Signed “Daisen Tōrin” with his seals.
