Tokuriki Tomikichirō – 徳力富吉郎 – (1902-1999) – Shoren-in – 青蓮院

A gorgeous piece of one of Kyoto’s most beautiful temples – Shoren-in. Signed and numbered! Tomikichiro created prints from start to finish in his own workshop (Sōsaku-hanga), but also earned a living with Shin-hanga (collaborative efforts overseen by publishers). Born in Kyoto, he was a graduate of the School of Fine Arts and Crafts. He is fairly well known in the west. Very good condition.
