From the series, “Hanga Kyoraku Ju-go Kei” (Fifteen Views of Kyoto). Published by Uchida Bijutsu Shoten c. 1950.   Tomikichiro created prints from start to finish in his own workshop (Sōsaku-hanga), but also earned a living with Shin-hanga (collaborative efforts overseen by publishers). Born in Kyoto, he was a graduate of the School of Fine Arts and Crafts. He is fairly well known in the west. Very good condition (toning and ageing on the back). Already perfectly matted!
