This print is the best quality to be found in the last 100 years, -handmade at the Adachi Institute (see stamp on verso in last photo), -supervised by it’s founder, Toyohisa Adachi (1902-1982), who made it his life’s work to recreate all of Sharaku’s prints. That series was completed in 1984, two years after he passed away.Good impression, bleed and saturation into handmade washi paper (see last pictures for saturation and bleed through to the verso).
Condition: Excellent. In original titled archival folder. With high-quality, hand-printed “bokashi” shading gradations. -Will look spectacular when professionally framed.
