Toyohara Chikanobu – 豊原周延 (1838–1912) – Kusunoki Masashige 楠木正成 – Made in 1898

Kusunoki Masashige 楠木正成, from the series “Heroes and Heroines in The Tale of Heike”, published in 1898. Chikanobu was highly prolific!

In good condition (light, normal aging, toning, small stains and light foxing). Size = 9.75″ x 16.5″ – Provenance: Private collection, Kyoto. Acquired in Kyoto, 03/2023.
