Arita-yaki is the modern term for Imari-yaki, which is a porcelain that has been made in Hizen, Saga Prefecture since the 17th century. It is considered one of the birthplaces of Japanese porcelain. Here we have a gorgeous yuzu-hada (orange peel surface) bowl. Masters of this style are but a few and bowls of this style are not commonly available. With the original hand-signed, high quality, artisan crafted box and the original certificate of authenticity. A fine addition to any discerning collection.
