This piece is a fine example of expert “ita-bokashi” (a technique of wood-block printing where the areas of the block where fade-off is desired are carved aslant, the sloping areas resulting in fade-off in the print). Very good condition (a couple of light creases). –Will look very dynamic in the right frame. Published by Yamaguchi-ya Tobei. Date: Shōwa period.
