$300.00 CAD

SOLD. -THANK-YOU!

The kabuki actors Bandō Mitsugorō III (三代目 坂東 三津五郎, Sandaime Bandō Mitsugorō) & Iwai Hanshirō V (岩井半四郎 (5代目), 1776–1847). We date this print from when Kuniyasu was quite young (1808-1816) because the publisher’s seal [Sōshūya Yohei (総州屋与兵衛) (publisher ca 1802 – 1851)] is a variation from the one catalogued by Andreas Marks that covers the years 1816-1851. The kiwame covers this time period. Good, normal condition for its age. Tipped to its archival backboard.
