Yoshiiku falls directly into the traditional line of the late Utagawa School painters. As a contemporary of Kunichika, he also painted kabuki characters, but also worked with Yoshitoshi in the production of the muzan-e (“cruel pictures”). Good condition (light wrinkles, slight soiling, a couple of very small pinholes).
